Richard R. Conn  CMA, MBA, CPA

Richard founded Accession Capital Corp in 2003 after twenty years of increasingly senior roles in corporate finance and financial reporting.  Often, as Controller or VP Finance, he was responsible for the assessment of potential take-over targets and a key member of the acquisition negotiations team.

Since formation, Accession has been consulted to a broad range of industries including the Oilsands, Conventional Oil and Gas Producers, Specialty Service Providers, Chartered Aircraft Services, CCTG Electrical Generation and Financial Services.  The assignments have ranged from traditional valuation opinions to assessment of elaborate derivative instruments as well as consulting to owner-managers in need of advice on the viability of a take-over or expansion.

Richard holds a B.A. in Commerce from the University of Toronto, an MBA in Finance from York University, and is a member of the Society of Management Accountants of Alberta as well as a fully licensed Certified Public Accountant with the State of Colorado.

Richard is a licensed private pilot and very active aviator.  He also holds a 3 year honors diploma in Musical Composition and Orchestration from Humber College.
